Montreal's emblematic Place du Canada selected design firm Bluespace and Float4 to collaborate on a bold architectural statement called LightWall, located at the building's entrance.
The artistic integrations formed by 67,000 pixels are activated by visitor movements and reveal the city's landmarks: the Saint Lawrence River, the Olympic Stadium, and Habitat 67. A generative art piece, LightWall is a breathing representation of Montreal’s moods and offers a unique experience at each visit.
Local artists are also invited to showcase their work, making LightWall one of Montreal’s largest interior luminous canvases.
